Lehigh Acres homesites are affordable again.

The Southwest Florida Real Estate market has finally settled down after after seeing home and land values soar in 2005-6. Lehigh Acres building lots are back to fair market value. Many were purchased during the 'bull rush' at 40 to 60 percent more than todays selling price, so now IS the time to buy building lots for personal use or investment.

"The supply of vacant developed lots totaled 7,192 units, a 12.5-month supply considered a shortage by Metrostudy when viewed in the context of long-term demand for housing."

Thousands of pieces of vacant land were gobbled up by short term investors looking to make fast money and now are willing to sell at half the price they paid or more. This coupled with the projected long term shortage has spurred renewed sales of Lehigh Acres real estate.
